Both realized and reckless, Fox Face is an eerie musical force that would be just as much at ease holding a seance on a stormy, nighttime beach as they would be throwing a rager in a dark, beer-soaked basement bar.
End of Man bumps up the furious guitar sound of Spoil + Destroy a few
more notches. It’s not metal, but the album’s sound edges in that direction. No filler, tight arrangements with lyrics that speak to our current fraught climate in both outward- and inward-looking ways. The stomping title track is the best song Black Sabbath never wrote.
